Track
Hurdlers mid-race on a track

Penn Charter's eight-lane track circles Maguire Field. It is a Beynon 1,000 surface, a product preferred by many colleges and high schools because its softer surface is more forgiving and, therefore, safer for young athletes to train on; it is the surface used by the University of Oregon, site of the 2016 track Olympic trials. The expanded track makes it possible to hold invitational track meets, which require eight lanes.

Pool
Water polo players practice in the pool

The six-lane pool is used for water polo, swimming and diving, and physical education classes, including scuba. Visitors can watch the action from a balcony, accessed from the lobby of the Graham Athletic Center.

The Kurtz Center has a choral room and performance studio, instrumental room with four individual practice rooms, a scene shop, and a costume room with men’s and women’s dressing rooms. Outside organizations may rent the space.
